How to solve any problem in life

I can’t find the man of my life”, “I am not fulfilled with my job”, “My business is not growing further”. Whether you face a life problem, work problem, creative or relationship problems, you need to know that every problem has a solution. Then why is it so hard at times to solve problems and make decisions?

Have you asked yourself these questions: Are they real or assumed problems? Am I seeing them as roadblocks or opportunities? What is my purpose, my vision? It gets easier when you realize that problems are happening for you and not to you and that problems are not roadblocks but simply opportunities to learn and grow. Once you find out the way to solve them, you will be happier and on the journey to become, step by step, a better version of yourself.

Take command of your life from the inside out with these 5 steps by YouAreTheKey:

1) Accept the problem

Take responsibility for your problem, make no excuses, dont blame it on somebody, your team, your boss, your husband, your children… Problems often arise as a signal to you that something is out of balance in your life. When you have the right mindset, every problem is an opportunity, take it as a challenge and a learning opportunity. It all happens FOR you and not TO you.

2) What are you solving?

Is it a real problem? Or is it just in your mind and you perceive it as being a problem? You need to change not the situation itself, but rather your attitude towards it. Once you begin to perceive a situation differently, you will find the way towards the best solution.

For example, as an entrepreneur I might say “I don’t have the team to grow my business by 50% in one year. Is it real? Could you not train some of those team members or identify missing skills and outsource some services, and still achieve your goal? Think differently, shift your mindset and look at your thoughts as a valuable tool to create your best reality.

3) Generate alternative solutions

I recommend you spend 80% of your time on finding alternative solutions. What is the right one for you? Sometimes we think the solution is either one or the other, but what if there was a third or fourth alternative? One you haven’t thought of before?

Instead of getting obsessed by the problem itself and spending months ruminating, step away from your ordinary perspective. Ask people for their input, ideas, solutions. Their unique life experiences might help you. Search for information. Seek for as many solution strategies as possible. Think out of the box and stay true to yourself.

4) Mindfulness to enhance problem-solving

Each new problem or issue is a response to our thoughts and efforts. Tap into your inner being, your intuition. Using simple methods of visualisation and meditation, you can learn to understand your own life, all the processes that happen to you and, most importantly, get the necessary information to make the right decisions.

Also, think about a creative way to help you find the solution. Think in pictures, vision boards, graphics, tables, pros and cons of the different proposed solutions. Journal your thoughts. Use any visual and creative tool that fits you best.

5) Your Desired outcome

You are going to solve a problem, but what’s the purpose behind that? How do you want to feel? Imagine your desired outcome, the reality when your problem has been successfully solved, the end result, the way you want to be or feel, your best self. Sometimes you don’t have something specific in mind but you have an intention, a big picture, a purpose, a vision, your life vision. You know how you want to feel. Becoming crystal clear about this purpose will allow you to work through this process far more effectively.

Use the Silva method

For the past two years, I have personally been using the Silva method to get answers to my problems. Based on more than four decades of brain research, the Silva method is a reliable way to make more use of the amazing untapped skills of your mind and gives you among others a step by step proven process to master the skill of problem solving. It has been endorsed by various thought leaders and scientists and for me it created magic in my life.“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” – Albert Einstein.
